Bobclass vs Eversports

Eversports is built for larger sports clubs. Bobclass is built for independent Pilates, yoga, fitness and personal training studios — at a fraction of the price, with no hidden fees and support that responds.

Beyond their studio software, Eversports is pursuing a Europe-wide marketplace strategy — inserting themselves between consumers and studios through their discovery platform. When a client finds your studio through Eversports Marketplace, they typically pay a commission, sometimes up to 25% per booking. With Bobclass, your clients book directly with you. No middleman, no commission.

In short: Bobclass Studio is €34.99/month including VAT — no setup fee, no annual contract, no extras. Eversports Accelerate starts at €134/month excluding VAT, adds a €99 onboarding fee, locks you into an annual commitment even on monthly billing, and charges separately for marketing tools and the client app.

When something goes wrong, who picks up?

Studio owners need fast answers — when a client can't book, or you simply have a question about the waitlist functionality. Studio owners who've switched from Eversports consistently cite support as the biggest difference. You're always talking to a real person at Bobclass, and we typically respond the same day. On the Unlimited plan, you get a direct WhatsApp line to a human — available every day, 8AM–8PM CET, typically responding within minutes. Our App Store reviews (4.7 stars, 356 ratings) mention support more than any other feature.

The price you sign isn't always the price you pay

A common frustration among Eversports customers: discovering after signing that basic features cost extra. Sending marketing emails to your own clients? €5/month ex. VAT on top. The client app? Separate price. Onboarding? €99 ex. VAT. And the Accelerate plan starts at €134/month — excluding VAT. Bobclass Studio is €34.99/month including VAT, with marketing tools and all apps included. What you see is what you pay — full stop.

Online payments are another area where the costs differ. Eversports adds its own markup on top of the standard Stripe processing fee. With Bobclass, you pay only the standard Stripe rate — we add nothing on top.

One new client a year isn't a growth strategy

Eversports markets its client discovery portal as a way for studios to attract new students. In practice, the lead volume for most boutique studios is negligible. Studio owners we've spoken to reported a single new client acquired through the portal over a full year of paying for the platform. Bobclass doesn't promise you a lead pipeline — it makes your existing operation run smoothly: classes, bookings, client relationships, memberships. Happy clients stay longer and refer others. That's how boutique studios grow.

Their app shows your competitors. Your clients. Your studio.

Both Bobclass and Eversports include a client app. But there's a fundamental difference in what that app is for.

The Eversports client app is a marketplace app. When your client opens it, they see classes from your studio — and from every other studio near them. Yoga on Monday? Here are six options nearby. Pilates on Thursday? Three studios are competing for the same booking. Eversports doesn't care which studio the client chooses, as long as they book through the platform. That's the business model.

Bobclass Go shows only your studio. Your classes, your schedule, your brand. Clients open it and see you — not a discovery feed of alternatives. It's a client app that works for you, not against you.

To be fair: Eversports does offer a white-label branded app — one that shows only your studio. But it costs up to €100/month extra, and you still have to pay the Apple and Google developer fees on top of that. It's the solution to a problem they created.

A year is a long time to be stuck with the wrong tool

Eversports requires an annual commitment. If the tool doesn't fit your workflow, if support isn't there when you need it, or if the hidden fees add up — you're locked in regardless. Some studio owners we've spoken to know Eversports isn't working for them but are sitting out their contract before switching. Bobclass renews month-to-month, as per the App Store. No sales call required to cancel, no annual lock-in. Start on the free plan and upgrade only when it makes sense for you.

When Eversports might actually be the better choice

We'd rather you pick the right tool than the wrong one. Eversports is likely a better fit if:

  • You run a large multi-venue operation — Eversports is built for sports clubs and facilities with complex staff hierarchies, multiple locations and resource management at scale.
  • Client discovery matters more than client management — their marketplace portal gives you visibility to new students searching for classes in your area. Bobclass doesn't offer this.
  • You need hardware integrations — if you require turnstile access control or gym entry systems, Eversports has more integrations in that space.

Bobclass is built for independent studios and instructors who already have their clients and want a fast, simple tool to manage them well. If that's you, we're confident you'll be happy.

What does Eversports pricing look like?

Eversports has four plans, priced excluding VAT. Here's how they compare to Bobclass — which is priced including VAT:

Bookings/month Eversports — ex. VAT Bobclass — incl. VAT
Up to 25 No free plan Free — forever
Up to 49 Light — €59/month Free — €0
Up to 200 Starter — €89/month Pro — €19.99/month
Up to 500–600 Accelerate — €134/month Studio — €34.99/month
Up to 1,499 / unlimited Professional — €185/month Unlimited — €49.99/month

A few things worth noting. Eversports prices are ex. VAT — in most European countries you'll add 20–21% on top. Bobclass prices are incl. VAT, so what you see is what you pay. Eversports also charges a one-off €99 onboarding fee, and their Accelerate plan locks you into an annual commitment even if you pay monthly. Bobclass has no setup fee and no annual contract.

Is Bobclass cheaper than Eversports?
Yes, significantly. Eversports' entry-level Starter plan is €89/month excluding VAT — comparable in positioning to Bobclass Pro, which is €19.99/month including VAT. At the next tier, Eversports Accelerate starts at €134/month excluding VAT and adds a €99 onboarding fee, while charging separately for marketing tools and the client app. Bobclass Studio, at €34.99/month including VAT, includes everything. For most boutique studios, the total Eversports cost works out 4–5× higher once all extras are factored in.
Does Eversports require an annual contract?
Yes. Eversports requires an annual commitment even when you opt for monthly billing. Bobclass renews month-to-month through the App Store — cancel anytime, no notice period, no questions asked.
Can I switch from Eversports before my contract ends?
Yes. Bobclass is free to start, so you can run both in parallel during your remaining Eversports contract period at no extra cost. We can also discuss a free transition period — get in touch and we'll work something out so you're not paying twice.
Is Bobclass easier to use than Eversports?

To be fair, Eversports is reasonably intuitive — it's not a confusing product. Where Bobclass pulls ahead is speed of operation. Bobclass is optimised for quick bulk editing: reschedule a class, send a WhatsApp update to all affected clients, done — in under a minute from your phone. Or bulk-reassign every class belonging to an instructor who just called in sick, across your entire timetable, in a few taps. That kind of operational speed matters when you're running a studio and also teaching.

But the bigger difference is more fundamental: Eversports is web-based. To manage your studio, you need to sit down at a computer. Bobclass is a native app on iOS, Mac, and Android — which means you can handle bookings, check attendance, message clients, or reschedule a class from your phone while you're in the park, on the metro, or between sessions. For most independent studio owners, that's not a minor convenience — it's how they actually work.

Which is better for pilates studios — Bobclass or Eversports?

Bobclass. Pilates studios run three distinct session types: private one-on-one sessions, duets (two clients sharing a session at a lower price per person), and group classes. Eversports is built around group class management — private sessions and duets don't fit cleanly into its scheduling model.

Bobclass handles all three in one schedule. The duet format works in a particularly smart way: a second spot opens automatically once the first client confirms, so a second client can self-book in without any manual coordination.

Does the Eversports marketplace actually bring new clients?

For most boutique studios, very few. Studio owners we've spoken to report as little as one new client per year through the Eversports discovery portal — and that's before asking whether those clients stuck around.

But there's a deeper reason we don't build this kind of feature: we don't believe in middleman services that take a percentage of your revenue without meaningfully contributing to it. The client found you, booked with you, and keeps coming back to you — a platform inserting itself into that relationship and charging for it is a model we're not interested in replicating. ClassPass works the same way, and we're not fans of that either.

The clients who matter most to a boutique studio aren't shopping around for the best deal on a drop-in class. They're the ones who come back every Tuesday at 9AM, refer their friends, and stay loyal through a price increase because they trust you. Bobclass is built to help you serve those people — not to sell you access to people who'll show up once.
